The Phoenix

I kind of feel like coloring the pheonix as if it were on fire would be pretty tough if you have the lineart done. Flames are kind of loose and wild, so it might be a problem to keep the fire constrained in the lines. You could actually play around with lighting and shading to make it look pretty sweet. As in, you know how light hits things from certain angles, and can make something look paler? Instead of using white light on the pheonix, have it be red/orange as a base color, and then use reds, oranges, and other colors as lighting. Then again, digital means you could erase lines, right?
